About

Emulating the breastfeeding bond through innovation

Emulait has developed the world’s first biomimetic baby bottle, designed to emulate the experience of breastfeeding. Emulait offers empathy backed by science and thoughtful design with the goal of supporting families to transition smoothly between breast and bottle, and empowering them to give their baby the best possible feeding experience.

Disrupting the baby bottle industry

Our founder, Shilo Ben Zeev, was inspired to shake up the baby bottle industry after seeing how challenging their family’s feeding journey was. With a background in medtech, he knew the potential of advanced technology and materials to impact health and wellbeing. As with most innovations, Emulait was born into a gap – the gap between breast and bottle. Together with the best and brightest in design, infant feeding and maternal health, they set out to create the world’s first-of-its-kind biomimetic baby bottle.

We support all babies and their families

Our mission is to support families in providing their babies with the best possible feeding experience. All families - moms and dads, single parents, same-sex parents, stepparents, adoptive parents, nannies, caregivers, extended families and chosen families. We celebrate diversity and believe everyone should feel seen and represented on their unique feeding journey.

The Scientific Advisory Board

The development of the Emulait feeding system was guided by our Scientific Advisory Board, and based on current scientific research and best practice around infant feeding. The guiding principle of the board is closing the gap between breast and the next best option. The Scientific Advisory Board comprises preeminent experts in infant feeding and maternal health.
